The windows installed at The Goat were selected from our Traditional timber sash windows range, specified to replicate the buildingās original profiles. Each unit was supplied with a weight and pulley mechanism and constructed in large format to suit the frontage. Available with double-glazed sash windows or triple glazing using Argon or Krypton gas, these units achieved centre-pane Ug values as low as 0.5 W/mĀ²K ā improving both energy efficiency and reducing noise, while preserving the appearance of single glazing.

We were appointed to supply and install bespoke sash windows for The GOAT, a restaurant and bar on Fulham Road in Chelsea, South West London. The installation included some of the largest units weāve produced to date, measuring up to 2.8 metres in height and providing a strong visual presence along Fulham Road.
Project Details & Challenges
The brief was to carry out sash window replacements that respected the buildingās original design while improving performance. As a period property in a conservation area, maintaining the visual integrity of the frontage was essential. The client required sash windows and doors that would meet planning requirements and perform well in a busy commercial setting.
Installation Detail & Collaboration
We advised on profiles, glazing options, and finishes throughout this commercial project. Several units at The GOAT were among the largest weāve manufactured ā measuring up to 2500mm wide by 2800mm high. Installation required a five-man team to safely lift and secure each frame.
These bespoke sash windows were built with traditional weight and pulley mechanisms and fitted to achieve a high-quality result across all window frames.
Finish, Colour & Detail
All window frames were finished internally and externally in RAL 7024 Graphite Grey to meet the clientās design specification. As a sash window company experienced in commercial projects, we applied a high-grade, spray-applied micro-porous coating. This finish offers long-term protection with minimal upkeep and comes with a 10-year warranty.
