Timber French Doors
We have two styles of timber French door. The lipped is a modern profile suitable for installation in conservation areas and is most commonly chosen for prestigious new build mansions, refurbishment properties or Barn Conversions with a stone or brick finish. The flush French door has a more classical flush line appearance that can be designed to incorporate a number of single and double door leaf configurations to suit specific build requirements. The slim sectioned flush profile is particularly suited to period properties, in areas where specific conservation requirements must be adhered to.
Both options open out as standard to maximise space and integrate the outdoors with an inside space, opening in options are also available where required.
Aluminium Heritage French Doors
Our Alitherm Heritage Door is the ideal replacement when looking for something a little different to a bifold, especially if you are in a period property.
The industrial look is an increasingly popular choice when transforming kitchens or extensions. The Alitherm Heritage range includes a narrow and elegant profile which matches the look of a Traditional Crittall door but without all its draw backs, like singe glazing, rust and poor security.
The system uses modern aluminium profiles that feature polyamide thermal breaks, allowing the system to achieve a U Value of 1.5 W/m2 k when installed with a suitable sealed unit. Single or double doors feature slim sightlines, tape or gasket glaze, multi point locking mechanisms and authentic lock blocks to achieve that classic retro look.
