Fulham College Boys School & WS Builders
The Fulham College Boys School, located in London, is a new Church of England Secondary School for boys; opened in September 2014. Traditional style replacement timber windows were required throughout the school and Sash Windows London were chosen to work alongside WS Builders to undertake this challenging installation of over 130 replacement windows within a strict timescale.
It was essential that the replacement windows were designed to match the existing timber products in the building as closely as possible to meet the approval of The London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. One major requirement of the project was that the windows had to combine period aesthetics to complement the building with high performance features to ensure a suitable school environment for over 500 pupils. Due to the nature of the project, all windows had to be supplied and installed to meet a specific completion deadline.
We were chosen to supply the windows for this project as “Our product quality and lead times are consistent” which were imperative to this project. Sash Windows London were able to design and supply bespoke timber windows to meet the specific and unique requirements of the project.
The Traditional Range was the ideal choice for the boy’s school; the windows are fully factory finished with extensive warranties, look in- keeping with the traditional design of the property and offer high U- Values providing excellent energy performance.
A mixture of bespoke timber windows, with an All Bar design have been installed throughout the building; large Sliding Sash Windows in Spiral Balance design with opening fanlights, Flush Casements and windows with a curved head design.
